by Oliver Kube (12.07.2007) So this is supposed to be the farewell of the Industrial-gods, Ministry, one of the most visionary and most influential bands of the 80s and 90s? If it should really be it, mastermind Al Jourgensen couldn't have created a more clever, and not at least cooler end. Alone the almighty sound bursting with plenty of details and in terms of power is better than almost everything there has ever been released. Jourgensen was again supported by Prong-boss, Tommy Victor and Paul Raven (Killing Joke), in three songs, like e.g. the epic in two parts, "End of days", furthermore added by Fear Factory-Shouter Burton C. Bell. The album perfectly starts with "Let's go", a merciless steam waltz in best "Psalm 69"-tradition. Also in the following course, Ministry don't get weaker. Nervous rockers, like "No glory" and the powerful "The dick song" change with hymns, like "Watch yourself". Only time to rest is the great cover version of the Doors-classic, "Roadhouse Blues". Great!
