by Olaf Plotke (20.01.2006) Majesty-Mastermind, Tarek Maghary promised a true heavy metal album to his fans - and he sticks to his word. For 48 minutes, Majesty present one hymn after the other covering the whole range of melodic heavy metal: from beautiful epics, like in β€œFreedom heartβ€œ to Manowar-like as in the title track. I love the variability and the richness of ideas with which Majesty build their songs and the melodies sounding different all the time. Of course, the band has their roots in bands, like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Manowar. But those were the spiritual godfathers in the beginning of their career. Today, Majesty have long become masters of their genre themselves. On β€œHellforcesβ€œ you can discover this craftmanship. This album is one single tribute to heavy metal, and it seems as if the band tried to present the complete exhibition of the genre on a single album. For me, already now one of the best records of the year 2006.
