With their fifth studio album Destroyer (released 1976), the Kiss fan community grew bigger and bigger. In order to add some mass appeal to their sound, the band added more melodious compositions instead of hitting the rough notes as much as before. Beth, one of the most sentimental love ballads ever released by Kiss. for example, can be found on Destroyer. The second record of this digipak, Rock & Roll Over, was the hardest output of the Kiss era at the time of its release. It was fresh and intoxicating, featuring absolute smashers like I Want You, Take ME or Makin' Love. In a nutshell: Rock & Roll Over was a brilliant Heavy-Rock record, just like the dreams of any given Kiss fans come true.
