Women's Knee-High Socks

Sometimes you just want to be warm and comfortable, sometimes you want to make a very special appearance – no matter what you're in the mood for, with the right stockings you'll look good on any occasion. Knee-length stockings and overknees have been standard in the wardrobe of every style-conscious woman since the century before last. And since those times, they have become much more diverse. Today, you will no longer only find classic hold-ups, but also cuddly and playful-looking knee-high socks that cut a fine figure with a skirt or dress, but also keep your legs toasty warm when worn under trousers. Comfortable or exciting, casual or elegant, with the matching stockings you can refine numerous outfits and give them your own, very personal touch.

Cozy, attractive and practical: Overknees

The classic overknees are mainly known as part of school uniforms, but they also go with many other outfits. The knee-length socks are especially popular in cooler temperatures and allow you to wear dresses and skirts without freezing even in the cold season. In everyday life and at home on the couch, they are of course particularly good for spending a cozy movie night, as well as under ordinary clothing for that extra shot of cosiness.

But they are also suitable for other occasions, for example combined with a short skirt as an exciting party and club outfit. The thicker, opaque fabric is also particularly suitable as a carrier for charming and fun prints. Overknees are often available as part of fan merchandise. If you like to play with motifs from the skirt sector, the attractive knee-high socks printed with various skull motifs are the best choice. And because we all know that socks appear in packs, but are often separated by their archenemies, the washing machines, these rocking stockings are available directly in a practical three-pack. The same applies to the discreet overknees from the streetwear manufacturer Urban Classics. The same brand also offers numerous models with different striped or checkered patterns and in different colors. These designs are particularly suitable as an accessory to an emo or punk outfit or simply as part of the everyday look: real classic streetwear.

Elegant and unusual knee-high socks

In addition to the cuddly socks, knee socks are of course also available in other variants. When an outfit needs to add a special, exciting and perhaps even daring touch, embellished, semi-transparent hold-ups are the first choice for many women. In addition to discreetly designed classics, you will also find more unusual variants in the EMP online shop . The very popular brand Gothicana by EMP stands for elegance with a touch of sex appeal. The stockings of the cult brand are available as a variant that is printed with white images of leg bones at the front and thus enriches the gothic outfit with a morbid note that is still classy. It is particularly elegant and just as sexy with laced stockings under which the skin peeks out. Perfect for very special moments or even a night in the goth club.
