With 'The Harmony Codex,' Steven Wilson releases his seventh album. Those who listen to 'The Harmony Codex' feel as though they are getting lost in an Escher drawing made entirely of sound. In the album's ten tracks, Steven Wilson navigates through a maze of memories, leading the listener down paths where shades of reflection, contemplation, and nostalgia spread.
The album was conceived and composed by Wilson, who worked alone in a studio in the garage of a townhouse in North London. He received support from musicians from around the world, including longtime studio partners such as Ninet Tayeb, Craig Blundell, and Adam Holzman, as well as a number of first-time collaborators, including Jack Dangers from Meat Beat Manifesto and Sam Fogarino from Interpol. Each musician was invited to leave their individual mark on the record. The snares, strings, and sampled sounds contributed by each artist were woven into the unique music on this album.

Even though 'The Harmony Codex' is an album that was created with spatial audio in mind, it doesn't require an elaborate sound system to captivate. Two speakers and an open ear are enough.
