Anniversary! For 25 years now Germany's leading gothic metal band 'Crematory' have fascinated their large fan base at home and abroad. Since their founding in 1991, twelve studio albums have already been recorded, as well as various live discs, singles, EP's and compilations. It is a proud achievement, and now with the new, thirteenth studio album 'Monument', they have reached a new musical peak. The new album will be released on April 15, 2016 at Steamhammer / SPV, it will be delivered worldwide as a digipak or 2LP and it undoubtedly marks the return of the Mannheimer group to their early metallic harshness. Much stronger than on the predecessor Antiserum (2014), brutal guitar riffs and hard-hitting drum grooves constitute the powerful base of the twelve songs on 'Monument', riddled with dark keyboard hooks and a mix of growls and clear vocals, partly in English and partly in German, which is typical for this band. Fans of the band will be pleased by this dynamic release.
