On her founded label “Rare Diamonds Productions”, metal queen DORO Pesch released further “diamonds” of her ever successful career. This includes her eighth solo album “Fight”, which was released on 19 August 2002. The twelve songs are now available as a re-release in a limited curacao transparent gatefold LP on vinyl. DORO and boxing fans remember: The title track “Fight” became the ring walk anthem for Doro’s friend – multi world champion Regina Halmich. There’s also a song with the unforgettable Peter Steele (Type O Negative) called “Descent” as well as a stunning German ballad titled “Hoffnung”. And don’t forget: “Always Live To Win” – a smash hit that not only reflects the singer’s philosophy of life, but still makes it onto virtually every set list on DORO’s tours.
As well as Peter Steele, guest musicians Russ Ballard, Jean Beauvoir, Andreas Bruhn, Chris Caffery and Jürgen Engler were also involved in “Fight”.
