by Matthias Mineur (null) Difficult, difficult! Of course one has to take highly into account that the Onkelz after endless songs of a similar kind want to explore new grounds. mastermind Weidner always relates to Lemmy Kilmister's Motörhead as a deterring example for a band that has never cared for innovations. Yet, if you face new challenges, they still have to cope with your traditions, have to fit your trademarks. And that's exactly where this album walks the thin line between hop or top. Already the first single, "Dunkler Ort" showed that Kevin Russel's voice has to fight for equality with the musical presentations. Sometimes sucessfully, but also sometimes not. The modern rhythmic elements that the Onkelz tried to implant to their straight Rock'n'Roll sometimes seem like an alien. Short remark: To the deadline of this review, I had only a short preview on some of the tracks. So, we keep ìour fingers crossed that the whole of the album is a little grippier than the preview.
