by Jürgen Tschamler (10/01) How stupid, the promo edition of this c.d. doesn't show who's in the line up of the album. "Dead yuppies" is another little step back to the real roots of the Hardcore legend. The riffs are less metallic, they clearly orient in the Hardcore genre, which can also be seen in the speed of the songs. 14 songs in less than 30 minutes, that speaks for itself. Agnostic Front hammer down on highest level and don't leave a chance to any ambitioned pogo-maniac - the bloody forehead is sure after only 5 songs. Most of the songs are quite similar, just songs like "Pedophile" or the title-track "Dead yuppies" are striking. More variable and with incredible riffs, this is even an exception for Agnostic Front. But they don't serve no trends, they stand for Hardcore like hardly any other band in the last 12 years. "Dead yuppies" is pure Hardcore and should disappoint nobody.
