Solitude Aeturnus from Arlington, Texas have always stand for high quality, both powerful and playful Doom Metal of the extra kind. "Alone" is another masterpiece. Highlight trademark of the new album is that there is no comparable band on this planet. Solitude Aeturnus is unique. Also on "Alone" you hear a group of aesthetes who have the gift to add complete transparency to their world weariness emotions with their performance. It would be insolent to highlight single tracks, because again all songs are on the highest, creative level and of timeless attraction. Solitude Aeturnus also impress me by their ultra heavy, hypnotic riffs combined with their unique drum sound on this album.
