Singer Chino Moreno is a modern Chris Cornell and bares his soul to the listener. The Deftones take up what Soundgarden left unfinished in the middle of the 90s. Heavy but sweat, no matter if you take "Elite", "Digital Bath" of or the samples and loops of "Teenager". It's all there and it's all good. The white pony proves to be a born-and-bred racing horse.
