Filmed at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island in August 1988, directed by Wayne Isham, the 2020 release of the Grammy-nominated Delicate Sound Of Thunder was sourced directly from over 100 cans of original 35mm film negatives, meticulously restored and completely re-edited from the restored and modernized film material by Benny Trickett, under the creative direction of Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis.
The sound was also completely remixed from the original multi-track tapes under the supervision of longtime Pink Floyd sound engineer Andy Jackson, with assistance from Damon Iddins, and with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.
Pink Floyd's outstanding live lineup at the concert dates was supported by the following musicians: Jon Carin (keyboards, vocals), Tim Renwick
