Filmed at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island in August 1988, under the direction of Wayne Isham, the 2020 release of the Grammy-nominated Delicate Sound Of Thunder was sourced directly from over 100 cans of original 35mm film negative, meticulously restored and completely re-edited from the restored and modernized film material by Benny Trickett, under the creative direction of Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis.
The sound was also completely remixed under the supervision of long-time Pink Floyd sound engineer Andy Jackson, with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and with the assistance of Damon Iddins from the original multitrack tapes.
Pink Floyd's outstanding live lineup for the concert dates was supported by the following musicians: Jon Carin (keyboards, vocals), Tim Renwick.
