Based on the 1987 original master tapes used for 'The Later Years,' Andy Jackson, with the assistance of David Gilmour and Damon Iddins, set out to remix and update the recordings. The Album will be available on vinyl, CD, DVD, and Blu-ray with stereo and 5.1 mixes.
The release of 'The Later Years' project in 2019 offered the opportunity to revisit the originally released 1987 Album 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason.' By revisiting some of Richard Wright's original keyboard takes and re-recording the drum tracks with Nick Mason, producers David Gilmour and Bob Ezrin were able to achieve a better creative balance among the three Pink Floyd members.
The newly remixed and updated 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' Album also features a new Album cover, showcasing an alternate bed photo by Robert Dowling from the original cover shoot supervised by the late Storm Thorgerson in 2013.
