”Are you wearing the-“ “The EMP Super Mario t-shirt? Yeah. Yeah, I am.”

Forget overpriced designer labels. Fashion has a new favourite – and, much like the Hadids or the Kardashians, he’s bringing his sibling with him. Mario and Luigi are multifaceted mavens, from experts in plumbing to Princess rescuers, now they can add style icons to the list. Super Mario t-shirts are going to be must-haves if we have anything to do about it…

Super Mario, created in 1981 by Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto, is considered the most famous video game character in the world. Several console generations later and his numerous games are considered the most successful game series ever. But that's not all: the cult plumber can also look back on his own television series and even a movie. In short: this virtual hero is a real pop culture icon and is known far beyond gaming circles.

Our selection of Super Mario t-shirts come in a range of designs inspired by the whole cast of characters. If you want that true retro feel, there are t-shirts with the original core characters – Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong - in their early designs. You can also pick up specific styles featuring individual characters if you have a favourite. Yoshi fan? We have the top for you. Bananas for Donkey Kong? You’ll find our items a-peel-ing. Whichever design hits your eye like a big pizza pie, EMP is inclusive to all. Offering a wide range of sizes, any fan should snap up our Super Mario t-shirts faster than Mario Kart after using a mushroom.

If it’s not enough that we offer plenty of high-quality Super Mario t-shirts, we’ve plumbed the far corners of the world to bring you exclusive designs and items. That means some of these Mario t-shirts and designs are only available from EMP. We’re ready to take our Bow(ser) for this success, yes.

As a plumber, Mario is probably counted as an essential worker. And essential is exactly what he has been in creating one of the gaming world’s biggest communities; a true pop culture icon who shows no sign of phasing out or being replaced. When you’ve done shopping our range of Super Mario t-shirts, don’t forget to check out the rest of our Super Mario merch.
