Slayer T-Shirt
Looking to add some pieces to your War Ensemble? These Slayer t-shirts will have you ready for anything…
It’s a truth universally known that the right outfit can make the world of difference. You don’t even need to be particularly into fashion for this to apply, it’s more about the importance of feeling like you’re being authentically you. For Slayer fans, a Slayer t-shirt does exactly this. It’s a way of stepping out each day, owning your place in the Slayer fandom.
Slayer are icons in the metal scene, having dominated their own space in the genre for nearly four decades. The band are best known for merging their musical persona with their band persona – both being brash, controversial, challenging and defiant.
The band were known for certain elements in their music, elements which quickly inspired other acts and remain a staple in the heavy and black metal scenes. Fast tremolo picking, elaborate guitar solos, double bass drumming, and piercing, shouting vocals. The band also made a name for themselves very early on into their career with their shocking and provocative lyrics and album art. Frequently revolving around topics like death, gore, Satan, hell, warfare and serial killers – you know, the same sort of thing ABBA sing about – Slayer remained unapologetic throughout their entire reign, even in the face of public controversy.
Album bans, delays, lawsuits, and strong criticism from religious groups and the general public became part and parcel of the Slayer experience, but it never deterred the fans. Despite all the controversies and criticism, Slayer are one of the most successful thrash metal groups in history, having won two GRAMMY awards and selling over 20 million records worldwide. After nearly forty years of recording and performing, Slayer embarked on their farewell tour in 2018 and had their last show at The Forum in Los Angeles in 2019.
The band might be done, but with our collection of Slayer t-shirts, you can keep the momentum going. Our Slayer tees come in a range of styles and designs, all inspired by the band’s nearly forty years of shocking and rocking. T-shirts include prints and artwork from the Live Undead 84 tour, or featuring the iconic Slayer lettering and logo. These Slayer tops are simple enough to introduce to your everyday wardrobe – paired with a jacket or trousers for work, or with leather and denim for a gig – but they still make a statement.
From Reign in Blood to Angel of Death, Slayer’s albums and their artwork are repurposed across a range of t-shirts – and we’ve even got exclusive designs. Some of our Slayer t-shirts are only available right here from EMP.
