Disturbed Merch
The American band was formed in Chicago in 1996. There is some disagreement within the music profession as to how their style could be described. This opinion ranges from Alternative Metal through to Heavy Metal, and everything in between. But what is certain is that anyone who appreciates the music of these four musicians knows exactly what they’re all about.
Around 15 million recordings were sold up to the middle of 2016 – an incredible achievement! Even though the American market accounts for a large proportion of this, there are a large number of Disturbed fans across Europe, and we have all the Disturbed fan merch you could want.
The group has quite rightly become very well-known through their appearances at festivals and open air events such as Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. The band logo is also very eye-catching and can be seen in the background during their appearances. The logo takes inspiration from various religious motifs which are intertwined with each other.
You can see the Star of David from Judaism, the Celtic Cross, Pentacles and Moon Crescents within the logo. The Moon Crescents have been placed in such a way that the points are made to look like little horns.
Disturbed Fan Shop
The band mascot, ‘The Guy’ is printed on much of the fan merch. He is wrapped in a hooded cape, with slanted eyes and a devilish grin. ‘The Guy’ is deliberately depicted as being less human and more like a supernatural being.
Sometimes he is depicted with a raised fist and the fan t-shirts are always emblazoned with amazing prints, quite often printed on both the front and back. These shirts are mainly printed in dark colours and the motifs quite often turn out very sinister looking. Subtle accents such as bright eyes are represented in bold colours.
All of this goes to create a very eerie backdrop. As the band has a lot of female fans, the range of clothing is second to none. Feminine shirts make up a good part of the Disturbed merch collection, as well as hoodies, tops, cargo pants and trainers.

Background and Facts about Disturbed
It takes a healthy portion of courage and madness to call your band ‘Disturbed’, but the relentless energy of the songs speaks for itself. Although this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as many fans are quite happy to be referred to as disturbed and see this as a compliment. This is all about standing out from the crowd and not just following the masses. The vocalist David Draiman is probably the most flamboyant member of the band.
He was meant to have learnt a serious trade rather than ending up as the lead vocalist of a band, but he fitted into the band just like the famous raised fist. Record labels were overwhelmed by the first demos and Ozzy Ozbourne was such a fan that he helped out the group with an invitation to Ozzfest 2000, their first real break. The first album earned them a double platinum.
The cover versions that the Disturbed guys are working on are also very interesting. The famous version of ‘Sound of Silence’ received a public accolade from Paul Simon. From melodies and dulcet tones through to brutal sounds, the band has developed its own unique style. This really accounts for a lot of their success and goes to explain why they have so many fans, who are not restricted by one particular metal genre.
Those who are keen to get their hands on Disturbed fan merch just need to take a look at the EMP shop. On the look out for more bands? No problem, take a look at Five Finger Death Punch, KoRn, Avenged Sevenfold and Black Sabbath.
