Sustainability and cool designs don't have to be mutually exclusive. We prove this every day at EMP with our clothing ranges and our own brands. We now have a whole range of sustainable products in our range, such as T-shirts, tank tops, hoodies and long-sleeved shirts. Sustainability for us covers various ecological and social issues.


At EMP, sustainable means, among other things, that Oeko Tex Standard 100 was complied with during production and/or that the product comes from Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). The Oeko Tex Standard is one of the best-known awards for textiles that have been tested for harmful substances. For example, clothing with this label does not contain any carcinogenic or allergenic colours, is free from pesticides and does not contain formaldehyde. Genetic modification and child labour are also ruled out. Garments made from artificial fabrics such as polyester can also be certified.


WRAP certifies that the products have been manufactured in compliance with local laws, without forced or child labour, with appropriate remuneration and humane working conditions for workers. Environmental aspects, worker health and safety and prevention of discrimination also play a role in this certification.
