"Zeit der Wölfe" is a melancholic, surprisingly sad and thoughtful album. The Metal parts used by Illuminate since "Augenblicke" dominate once again and keep the successor of "Zwei Seelen" on the right track. It is a dark fairy tale with the respective plot - a perfect fit for the dark poets. With the touching track "Leben, wo gehst du hin?", Johannes Berthold & Co. have composed a total stunner which will fill all Gothic dancefloors once again.
