by Matthias Mader (29.09.2006) Full Blown Chaos come from the streets of New York, so the band name is program. We had all this before, some may think. Sure, but nobody claimed that "Within the grasp of titans" would revolutionise the music business. It's just a fucking great Hardcore album from 2006. Which among other things also results from the fact that (despite the Agnostic Front-shirt of the singer) it leaves out all the macho clichΓ©s. Songs like "Trials of Triumph" or "Solemn Promise" follow a pleasantly simple riff pattern, which definitely increases the catchiness of the material. Sometimes less is more and in this fact, Full Blown Chaos remind me of the very early Pro-Pain, added by some Carnivore-nihilism, Leeway's talent for stop-and-go-structures as well as Whiplash's love for freestyle Thrash Metal. It is remarkable how many great bands still come from the Big Apple.
