The clock strikes midnight, witching hour - The Vision Bleak is back! Three years after "Set Sail to Mystery" the masters of horror metal have undergone a makeover with their now fifth album "Witching Hour". With "Witching Hour" Schwadorf and Konstanz continue with the spontaneity and playfulness of their debut record "The Death Ship Has A New Captain" and even their old slogan "creepy and haunting entertainment" is as fitting today as it was back in 2004. The extensive witch concept of "Witching Hour" portrays the duo as morbid storytellers with a brutally bizarre, but very entertaining treasure chest full of fairy tales and myths. Other than that, groovy impulsive riffs, sublime melodic lead guitars and Konstanz's inimitable voice shape the picture, but new additions such as the effectively used ghostly flute or the most diverse and dark vocals up until today contribute a huge portion into making "Witching Hour" sound more abysmal and fatal than past records.
