"Wilder mind" CD by Mumford & Sons

The winners of 2013 Grammy, BRIT and Echo awards are back: Mumford & Sons release their third album "Wilder Mind". The recordings for the new album by the four Britons took place at the London Air Studios where the renowned producer James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, HAIM, Florence + the Machine) supported them. "Wilder Mind" unites 12 songs which were written by Mumford & Sons collectively in their home towns London, Brooklyn and Texas. The result is an album on which the band based around Marcus Mumford delves into completely different soundscapes as in both predecessors: this includes the writing and recording as well as the structure, texture and dynamics of the compositions. The sound feels, as paradoxical as it may sound, at the same time minimalist and colossal whereas Marcus Mumford himself describes the sound as " a natural development, not a turning away from previous recordings". It was, so to speak, created accidentally and after that the band decided on purpose to further walk in this direction.
