by Markus Wosgien (03.02.2009) Ektomorf are angry - no, they are furious! Almost three years after their last brutal eruption "Outcast", they attack us with 13 new songs (motto: "What doesn't kill you...") and give us no time to breathe! With their groovy and modern mixture of Thrash Metal and Hardcore, Ektomorf have found their own unique sound and were able to distance themselves from the closeness they had to Sepultura & Co. during their early days. "What doesn't kill me..." is brutal and straight as an arrow: there's no pussyfootin' around the bush here. "Rat war" is the perfect beginning of this mighty album, followed by juggernauts like "Revenge to all", "I can see you" or the terrific title song. The powerful production, done by Tue Madsen in Danish Antfarm Studios (The Haunted, Cataract, and many more) adds even more punch to this merciless wrecking ball. Just wow.
