by Jürgen Tschamler (11/02) Anthrax are back with a hell of an album, so voluminous that all early "Anthrax's dead"-chaps will come to rest. Basically you can tell "We've come for you all" the musical mixture of the last two Anthrax albums, however with an enormous improvement in terms of better songs and heavier riffs. After the intro, they kick off with the skull-shredding, aggressive-powerful "What doesn't die". Monster! The following "Superhero" is even more than that and becomes a brachial riff monster in which singer John Bush will enchant everybody with his unbelievable voice. "Safe home" features some heavy weight rhythms and a catchy melody line - solid combination! The absolute opposite is "Black Dahlia", beginning very heavy and later on added by Grind passages, too. With rigorous riff attacks, Anthrax underpin their status. The 14 tracks are variable, really heavy and convince with great ideas, have depth and speed and show clearly that Anthrax have returned to their old strength. Watch out for the 3 k's: killer-riffs, killer-songs, killer-production.
