by Markus Eck (12.03.2008) Artillery, Znowhite, Onslaught, Whiplash, Exodus, Death Angel, Exumer, Dark Angel, Forbidden, Apokalypse – they are all glorious names for true Old School Thrash-supporters. This is a new name for them to celebrate: Warbringer from Los Angeles. With their endlessly thrilling debut album, "War without end", these five talented aggressors are definitely an important part of the revival of this genre that saw its heydays in the 80s. Already on their fantastic demo EP, "One by one the wicked fall", the furious quintet let their raw thunder staccatos dance like dry leaves in a storm. The fabulous guitars on this rough, igniting war album is state-of-the-art and the same can be said about the exact drumming. The ten orgiastic, edgy Thrash attacks are breathtakingly topped by a perfectly suiting voice that sounds like a butcher's cur driven into a corner. Fabulous!
