by Oliver Kube (11.07.2007) Fans of EA80, the Boxhamsters, Dackelblut, as well as Muff Potter and Beatsteaks, watch out: after almost eight years of endless work and touring through every club, the Flensburg-based Turbostaat finally storm the first row in German Punk Rock. After Beatsteaks-drummer, Thomas GΓΆtz had seen the five guys at one of their shows he did everything to help them. Only little later, Turbostaat were being signed to the label of the Berlin troop, went on tour with the genre stars and now present their third album, "Vormann leiss". Despite their major deal and the fact that since their last album, four years have passed, the band has lost nothing of their authenticity and their urge. That becomes clear from the heavy rumbling opener, "Harm rochel". Melodic hitters, like "Schalenka hase" and "Nach fest kommt ab" set forth the feast. Even if they reduce the pace a bit, like in "Ja, roducheln!!" and the title track, the band never loses their aggressiveness.
