No doubt: this is the summer of Iron Maiden. First the great gigs on the summer open airs then the prospects of the new album "Dance Of Death"and in between all that and no less worthy: the DVD "Visions Of The Beast". Here you find more than 30 official video clips from 1980 to 2001 plus 40 minutes of bonus material like some excerpts from soccer games that the Maiden-musicians have participated in (they can really play!), a special comic clip for "The Wicker Man" as well as some animated "Camp Chaos"-versions of "Aces High", "Number Of The Beast", "Run To The Hills" and "Flight Of Icarus". Sums up to a total of more than 3 hours of playing time, however not always in an overwhelming sound (Dolby Digital 2.0 is a bit thin). If you want to have the history of the band chronologically, you also find the complete discography with all composer-credits, cover artworks, etc. What else could there be? (Matthias Mineur - 06/03)
