by Ralf Nüsser (05/01) One day, a friend of mine called me and said: eh, NΓΌsser, I've heard the new WASP-c.d.. And you what - it's damned great! The opener "Let it roar" is a hammer. A typical WASP classic. But all songs on the album are. "Hate to love me" is even just a little bit faster and even greater. "Raven heart" is already one of my favorites of the years, unbelievable. But what do I tell you. Those are songs where each one is better than the other. Only one exception: there is one instrumental that would have better fit onto a Santana-album. But that's what SKIP-buttons are for. But the other songs are so great, who cares for a single weak spot? In many of the songs you really feel reminded of the WASP classics. Many parts could have been on the "Headless children" album. This man really goes back to his roots. Believe me, this album rocks! You've gotta listen to it, a really great album!" And you know what? The man was right!
