by Jürgen Tschamler (11.07.2006) This five-piece band is of the generation of metal core bands that devoted to traditional metal, too, paying tribute to their personal heroes. "Stand as one and fight for gloryβ in impressive way combines the multiple influences that Mendeed skilfully used. Heavy riff orgies and full speed metal mixed with multi-vocal choirs and vocal passages added by very mass-compatible arrangements can immediately convince. A song like "Poisoned heartsβ would be the pride of some a true metal band - a great killer song with a fat Metallica-riff! Singer David Proctor roars his soul out, especially in the metal core parts. If you like bands, like Bullet For My Valentine, Chimaira or Avenged Sevenfold, Mendeed should be the next name on your list. The 12 songs are very variable and being performed with best skills. Mendeed instantly catapult themselves into the premier league with this album.
