Founded in 2006, the Berlin punk rock band FIGHTBALL quickly made a name for themselves by playing concerts all over Europe. By now, their musical development and the use of a trumpet and an organ hinder clear classification in one genre. Fascinated by everyday dramaturgy, the new creation is summarised by the name "Theatre Fatal" and with the help of Tom Schwoll (Jingo de Lunch, Skeptiker, Extrabreit) as producer it was captured live in the Schaltraum Studios in Berlin. The determination with which the five musicians create music is vital for the development of the songs on their new album. On the album, the rockers from Berlin publish twelve powerful songs and thereby an album, which marches forward relentlessly and convinces with mature, strong voiced melodies. Without forgetting their punk rock roots the five allure the listener with new musical diversity. Whatever you want to call their style, FIGHTBALL prove to be a piercing force, full of surprises and musically adept with the new dynamic of "Theatre Fatal". The dagger that graces the simple artwork, becomes a symbol of resistance, of the elegance and danger of the "Theatre Fatal". The album was mixed by Philip Hoppen, who is known for his work with Kraftklub, Turbostaat and Deichkind (amongst others). The mastering was done by Robin Schmidt (Gaslight Anthem, Beatsteaks, etc.).
