It was hard to imagine that all his love for heavy guitar riffs that he is known for with Deep Purple and Rainbow has completely gone. On the new album of his band, Blackmore's Night, he celebrates a perfect mix of Medieval folk sounds, sweet ballads (again beautifully performed by his partner in life, Candice Night) and solid rock songs.
