The Turn Of A Friendly Card was first released in November 1980 and was the fifth album from The Alan Parsons Project, the brainchild of composer, musician and manager Eric Woolfson and acclaimed producer and engineer Alan Parsons. The album included classic compositions such as ‘Games People Play’, ‘Time’, ‘The Gold Bug’ and the suite ‘The Turn of a Friendly’, which dominated the second side of the album. This new deluxe edition includes 3 CDs and a Blu-ray disc (region free) with an additional 42 tracks from Eric Woolfson’s songwriting diaries, studio session outtakes and a stunning new 5.1 surround sound mix by Alan Parsons, as well as a high-resolution remastered original stereo mix, along with promotional videos of ‘Games People Play’, ‘The Gold Bug’ and ‘The Turn Of A Friendly Card’ and a promotional TV advert. This stunning set also includes a lavishly illustrated book with a new essay of photographs, memorabilia and recollections by Alan Parsons and Sally Woolfson. There is also a reproduction poster included.
