"The great divide" CD by Allen, Russell / Lande, Jorn

Jorn Lande (Jorn & Ex-Masterplan) and Russel Allen (Symphony X & Adrenaline Mob) serve a new prog artwork. "The Great Divide” was compiled with prominent support by Timo Tolkki (Stratovarius & Avalon).

The first chapter of collaboration between Jorn Lande and Russell Allen was written in "The Battle” in 2005 and was equally whelmed with praise from fans and media. Many magazines and websites honoured it as "album of the year” and the CD was the most successful release ever in Melodic Heavy metal. The talented guitar player and songwriter Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Last Tribe, Starbreaker) contributed greatly to this success.
In 2007 the second chapter of successful collaboration was written in "The Revenge” and once more the reactions by fans and media were overwhelming. The album delighted those fans that already loved the first album with a harder and heavier production that was mixed by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Angra, Place Vendome). In 2010 the trilogy was successfully completed with "The Showdown”.
The new album "The Great Divide” now comes with great changes due to the exchange of song writing and production into the hands of former Stratovarius member Timo Tolkki. After the success of the trilogy, a change was necessary to move a step forward and add a fresh musical line. Nonetheless the manner of marvellous song-writing and breath-taking vocals of the two prodigies remain in place.
