While the critical voices of popular musicians commenting to what's going on in the world often only seem more spoken for popular reasons rather than idealistic ones, Pennywise have stood for their conviction and their belief in justice for decades. Also on "The fuse" they oppose the problems and parasites of our civilization. Beside violence, political discrepancy and excessive mobile telephone consumption, also manipulation by the media plays a role. Nevertheless, adjoining these serious topics, Pennywise have also always stood for the fun of Skate Punk music! And that becomes clear from the first through the last second. This band understands the mixture of guitar salves and sugary sweet hooklines. If you thought that Jim Lindberg and his fellows would come across dated you're wrong.
