by Matthias Mader (null) A Mini-CD to get over the waiting time until the next complete longplayer of NOFX is released? Well, may be! Actually, it's more likely that Fat Mike and Co. were too lazy again, to create enough compositions. Not that there's a lack of creativity - the songs on "The decline" (even numbering the songs must have been too much of an effort, or is it meant to be a 1-song-concept Γ  la Pink Floyd?) again, are on the highest level (...and speed level). "Give the people what they want" - that's exactly the way, NOFX hit the fans their very own sort of Hardcore over the head. This time (next to the obligatory use of wind section noises), the fat sound is quite obvious and nicely shows the bass to advantage. In this state, NOFX indeed are the most promising candidate for the HC-throne in 2000 - even before Rancid and Bad Religion - if at some point they manage to record their new longplayer...
