'It is a direct continuation of the previous album,' says Norrman. 'Less doom and more death metal, but still melodic and with more layers. I sought inspiration in records I listened to during the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. But it still sounds like October Tide.' The sound of October Tide is not only intertwined with doom-laden melodeath but is also accompanied by emotionally captivating guitar work that is known to delve into melancholic and introspective tones. Even though the band's form has changed over the years.
