by Sonja Angerer (29.09.2007) In their home country, the classic J-Rock-quintet is almost cult: formed in 2001 and since 2004 in today's line-up, already their first concerts attracted such a big audience that the label Free Will (e.g. Dir En Grey) picked up on them. While "The bottom of chaos" already had two predecessors in Japan, Rentrer En Soi enter Europe as newcomers now – a status that they will soon get rid of: in their heavy riffs, the hard, hoarse vocals with its striking melodic parts nothings reminds you of any uncertainties that young bands often have on their debut records.
