by Andreas Reissnauer (29.03.2007) Attentive visitors of the underground festivals will have seen the band Defloration some time or other. The band from Eastern Germany could already build up a massive fan base especially by the animalistic attraction of the singer, Uwe RΓΆdel - one of the most important trademarks of the band. Musically, it becomes clear after only a few seconds which band is Defloration's godfather: the influences of the early Cannibal Corpse are unmistakably. Fast Death Metal with a variable riffing, high speeds and fast solos. This is the old Cannibal school celebrated in technically perfect performance. That may not be original but this album rocks like hell - also a merit of Kai Stahlenberg's production in the Kohlekeller Studio. With "The bone collection", Defloration set an exclamation mark. Fans of American Death Metal should definitely check it out!
