by Oliver Kube (03.02.2009) "Ten", first released in August 1995, outsold Nirvana’s "Nevermind" very soon as most successful album of the Grunge era: in the meantime, this album has sold more than 12 million copies alone in the US, plus it is one of the bestselling debuts in the history of music and turned front grunger Eddie Vedder & Co. into superstars. "Alive" is the über-song on this album, but "Jeremy", "Even Flow" and "Oceans" have become big successes, too. And now, this milestone of history is rereleased in 4 new versions, each one containing the respective remastered album, six bonus tracks, and a remix version, done by the band’s regular producer Brendan O’Brien: you can get the regular double CD, a vinyl version of that, a deluxe double CD plus DVD (containing a complete concert and the 1992 "MTV Unplugged" show) and last but not least the "Super Collector´s Edition" box including double CD, double LP and nice extras like for example a replica of their first demo tape.
