by Oliver Kube (15.01.2007) Sovereign chart entry with the single "Yeeha", as well as with the accompanying album plus tours with giants, such as Die Γrzte, Disturbed, Stone Sour and Limp Bizkit - the Hamburger band Tape already broke through with their debut album, "#1" (2003). Consequently, the pressure that was lying on the quintet must have been enormoulsy high. Especially, because ex-Frontfrau Dacia had to be replaced by Peti. But the fans of the quintet don't have to worry: with her variable, extremely warm voice, the new singer is a true benefit. And also for the rest, the band has heavily improved. With the brute "24/7", they start in edgy Nu Metal directions, as usual. But already with "Leave it all behind", provided with bold grooves and interrupted by calm acoustic sequences, they show a new liking for more variation, further manifested with hymns, such as "Nothing but lies" as well as interesting rhythms like in "Mary". Top!
