by Jürgen Tschamler (03/10) Dissection and Swordmaster are names that almost everybody should have heard. Members of these two bands have now come together in Deathstars to create a new bastard of Bombast Industrial Metal. That may sound swollen - but they succeeded! "Synthetic generation" is an album without any weak spot on it. The band maintaines a very high level throughout the whole album which definitely is among the best that has been released in the last years in the Industrial Metal genre. The Swedes draw their influences from really different genres. But the result is a mix that hits you right between the eyes. Deathstars are the best newcomer in the Gothic-Industrial area for years and will delight every fan of Marilyn Manson, Fields Of The Nephilim, Pain and Rammstein into ecstasy - I promise! I wouldn't wanna highlight any one song, the album lives by its homogeneity and can absolutely convince. The limited edition will contain 2 bonus tracks + 2 video clips and comes in an expensive paper box - so get it before it's too late!
