by Jürgen Tschamler (03/10) "Stomp 442" was originally released in 1995 and despite good song material was Γ¬ one of the Anthrax albums that drowned a bit. The album was cancelled from the Γ¬ Elektra catalogue in 1999 and unavailable since then. In the course of their Γ¬ great comeback the guys have now decided to re-release this solid disc and put Γ¬ some nice extras to it: "Fueled and "Nothing" in the enhanced part/clips Γ¬ section. "Nothing" is definitely THE track on the album, an absolute Anthrax Γ¬ classic. But also killers like "American pompeii", "Drop the ball" or "Riding Γ¬ shotgun" will blow your ears free. In my opinion, the guys have managed Γ¬ for the first time to perfectly adjust their songs to the voice of John Γ¬ Bush. And without his charismatic voice, the songs wouldn't be worth half as Γ¬ much, anyway. Those who know Anthrax because of " We've come for you all" Γ¬ should definitely check this one out!
