12.This is the end
by Björn Thorsten Jaschinski (14.04.2008) The J-Rock dictatorship lets them appear like the little brothers of Sonic Syndicate at the confirmation – but musically, the honest styled suits with their androgynous looks have a fire burning inside that in "Flies" repeatedly breaks through the border of melodic Black Metal. In their own way, the six Swedes appear much less puppet like than their country fellows mentioned above. Musically likewise styled but more passionate and more extreme into all directions. That may result from the Hardrock influence crushing the modern grooves, keyboard extravaganzas and hit melodies. The mentioned "Flies" and "Black hand" are already known from the second demo, "Terror hearts". Marionette has instantly arrived where Children Of Bodom have gone to over many records. Several tests at random and the rough vocals of Axel Widén remind me clearly of the wild kids from the murderer lake. Good musicians and song writers – the rest is up to your own taste.
