With the release of the crazy double studio album "Z²”, Devin Townsend, known to be an irrepressible, creative lunatic, offers an extremely well recorded, opulent concept opus that strongly stirred up the general pop mainstream. "Z²” is a gigantic double album battle between humanity and Ziltoid represented by the epic, atmospheric abundance of DTPs "Sky Blue” vs. the dark orchestral bombast of the Ziltoidic "Dark Matters”. Now the voluminous vinyl box set is followed by standalone versions of the two "Z²” parts "Sky Blue” and "Dark Matters” as fancy, separate vinyl editions. Each available as double LP in a Gatefold Sleeve on 180g vinyl with the CD version as a bonus.
