by Markus Eck (30.10.2009) One look at the track list of this new release and it’s obvious: this cover album by the Finns was long overdue. "Skeletons in the closet" contains the musical preferences of this Scandinavian band almost completely. The European, US and Japanese version of the CD are a bit different from each other, the European one containing covers of Metal masterpieces as "Aces high" (original: Iron Maiden), "Antisocial" (original: Anthrax) and Hard Rock evergreens (e.g. "Don't stop at the top", original: Scorpions). Among the highlights: "Rebel yell", the old #1 hit by Billy Idol. Also aboard are the Folk Rock gem "Looking at my back door" (original: CCR), and a cover version of the Ramones’ "Somebody put something in my drink" - when Children of Bodom belt out that tune, you can’t but sing and drink along!
