by Markus Eck (29.09.2007) This mini-album was supposed to be released before the last Elis studio album, "Griefshire" – but the tragic, sudden dying of the ex-singstress, Sabine Dünser, knocked all plans of the popular Gothic Metal band on the head. "Show me the way" is now being released in an affectionate, reworked version: at the same time a symbolic heir of Sabine's work and a recuperative new beginning for the band and the fans of Elis. And this as short as exclusive disc of melancholy closes the "Griefshire"-chapter with Sabine's last and unreleased recordings. Included is also a new version of the Elis-classic, "Show me the way". The two guitarists, Pete Streit and Christian Gruber as well as bass-player, Tom Saxer and drummer, Max Näscher delivered a worthy remembrance to Sabine, and at the same time, with "Show me the way" they dare a brave step into the future with their new, ambitious singer, Sandra Schleret.
