    Shovel headed kill machine

When Exodus started out with "Tempo of the damned" in 2003, the thrash community went mad! Since then, many things (too many, if you ask me) have happened in the line-up. Still, Exodus 2005 sound even angrier, more aggressive and tighter. Which should be a big share of the new writer-in-team, Rob Dukes and ex-Slayer, ex-Forbidden drummer, Paul Bostaph as well as the ex-Heathen axeman, Lee Altus. All three of them are first choice of Gary Holt's for the ten new thrash hammers reawaken all deads. Absolute old school killers, like "Deathamphetamine", "I am abomination" or "Going going gone" reign the album - thrash 'till death is the motto of the band. Rob Dukes has the perfect roaring like a steam engine under pressure. Stylistically between Baloff (R.I.P.), Zetro and Anselmo, this guy gives everything. A track like the midtempo riff kills brain hammer, "Shudder to think" maltreats your neck muscles - heavy shit as hell. "Now thy death day come" is one of the highlights for me on this thrash hurricane. And when the title track ends this album you are a 100 percent under voltage - adrenaline Thrash has left its marks. This is another lesson in violence! A must have album! (JΓΌrgen Tschamler - October 2005)
