'Heino' managed to surprise everyone last year when he returned with a brand new album. More than 250.000 copies of "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" are sold. 'Heino' is 75 years old, conquered the German album charts and is elected last year's king of downloads.
Now, 'Heino' surpasses himself. He covers his own folksy hits, which his fans want to listen to at every concert. But simply covering them would be boring. In cooperation with various producers from the rock and metal scene, he created new rock versions of his old Schlager music songs. The popluar old hit "Blau blüht der Enzian" is transformed into the appropriate rock album's name "Schwarz blüht der Enzian".
