by Matthias Mader (null) "Schlachtrufe" is the most successful German Punk-Sampler-series promises the info, and somehow this has to be right for this is already the sixth part of it! (Other legendary compilation series like "KZ 36" or "Soundtracks zum Untergang" have never got this far.) Unfortunately, light and shadow are very close together on this sampler, mellow Funpunk-Combos like U-Kommando or Planlos are not only musically absolutely unnecessary but also lyrically more than infantile. Other newcomers are a bit superfluous, too. They carry their heart on the right spot ("Tod dem Naziterror"), but seen musically they are not really a revelation to the scene. Real highlight unfortunately are sparsely sown, like e.g. the well-known "Mord und Totschlag" or Baffdecks. Some more (better) known names like Terrorgruppe or Zusammrottung (are tehy still existing, anyway?) would surely have helped this sampler.
