After a three-year hiatus, Twenty One Pilots release their new Album 'Scaled And Icy'. The Album follows their 2018 work 'Trench', which debuted at #4 on the German Album charts and sold over 23,000 physical units in Germany. Prior to that, the band released their most commercially successful single 'Heathens', which was also used for the soundtrack of the film 'Suicide Squad'. In 2017, the duo was awarded the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo/Group. The new Album 'Scaled And Icy' was created during the Covid-19 pandemic in self-isolation - 'Scaled And Icy' is a product of virtual sessions that took place over long distances and accompanies the duo in processing their disrupted routines, which went hand in hand with the prevailing emotions of the year 2020 - fear, loneliness, boredom, and doubt.
